Writer/Producer and International Liaison, Kayoko Kikkawa Dietsche is a woman of many talents. More than just fluent in the English language, she has a keen insight into American culture allowing her to find the perfect nuance when negotiating, translating or interpreting. As a result, she is a leader in the field of international liaison for the film/TV, animation/anime, manga, publishing, video game, and IT industries.

Mrs. Dietsche began her motion picture career at OZLA Pictures as assistant to Japanese film producer, Taka Ichise (Ringu and The Grudge). There she learned every aspect of the industry.

Her producing and translating skills eventually spilled over into the video game industry. As Associate Producer, she worked closely with director, Brian Yuzna on The Unsolved (Sony Play Station). Some of her other projects include Ill Bleed and Blue Stinger (Crazy Games).

Her recent work as an international liaison, includes representing Yukitoshi Shuto, CEO of Media Fish, Inc., and Go!Media Entertainment, as well as interpreting for Japanese film director, Takashi Shimizu (The Grudge & Grudge II).

Currently, Mrs. Dietsche and producer, Brian Yuzna (Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Reanimator) have team-up to produce Strigoy: A Vampire Valentine, an animated feature film. Based on her manga, illustrated by Kazuki Sato, this tale of terror explores the dark, inner-sanctum of a man willing to do anything for “eternal life.

Mrs. Dietsche has three other works to her credit: Stray Blood, the story of a 400-year-old samurai vampire and his quest for redemption with illustrations by renowned Japanese artist, Jade Blue (Song of the Gaea), The Good Guy, a heart-pounding, noir, action story that revolves around the love life of a team of gay assassins, pen and inked by Akira Udagawa, and for the PG-13 crowd, FireCats, an epic tale of a kingdom under siege. Jade Blue illustrates this, too.

Born in Tokyo, Kayoko earned her B.A. in Japanese History from Kwansei Gakuin University. She was raised in Osaka, Japan and in New York City, and now resides in Southern California, though she still maintains a residence in Tokyo.
